Wireless subwoofer This section includes an overview of the wireless subwoofer.

AC~Socket Connect to the power supply. Pair Button Press to enter the pairing mode for the subwoofer.

POWER Switch the Soundbar on or off. SOURCE Selects an input source for the Soundbar. VOL +/Increase/Decrease the volume. 4

LED indicators

Subwoofer Indicator When the power is turned on,the indicator lights up. During wireless pairing between the subwoofer and the main unit, the LED indicator blinks amber slowly. When the pairing succeeds,the indicator grows solid. When the pairing fails,the indicator blinks amber quickly. When the main unit shut down or enter standby mode,the LED indicator is off.

USB Audio input from a USB storage device . HDMI OUT (ARC) Connect to the HDMI input on the TV . OPTICAL Connect to an optical audio output on the TV or a digital device . • The provided Remote Control allows the unit to be operated from a distance.

HDMI ARC Switch your source to HDMI ARC connection.

AUX Switch your audio source to the AUX connection (3.5mm jack).

• Even if the Remote Control is operated within the effective range 19.7 feet (6m), remote control operation maybe impossible if there are any obstacles between the unit and the remote control.

Pair/BT Switch to Bluetooth mode. Press and hold to activate the pairing function in Bluetooth mode or disconnect the existing paired Bluetooth device.

OPTICAL Switch your audio source to the optical connection.

• If the Remote Control is operated near other products which generate infra-red rays, or if other remote control devices using infra-red rays are used near the unit, it may operate incorrectly. Conversely, the other products may operate incorrectly.

First-time use : The unit has a pre-installed lithium battery. Remove the protective tab to activate the remote control battery.

Replace the Remote Control Battery The remote control requires a 3V CR2025 Lithium battery. 1 Use tools (such as coin batteries/coins) to catch the groove of the battery box cover and turn counter-clockwise to (unlock). 2 Remove the old battery, which is located in the lid, place the new Cr2025 battery and pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-). 3 Use the tools to catch the groove of the battery compartment cover and turn clockwise to (lock), secure it into the remote control.

Precautions Concerning Battery • When the Remote Control is not to be used for a long time (more than a month), remove the battery from the Remote Control to prevent it from leaking. • If the batteries leak, wipe away the leakage inside the battery compartment and replace the batteries with new ones. • Do not use any batteries other than those specified. • Do not heat or disassemble batteries.

Place the subwoofer at least 1 meter (3 feet) away from your Soundbar, and ten centimeters away from the wall.

• Never throw them in fire or water.

For best results, place your subwoofer as shown

• Do not carry or store batteries with other metallic objects. Doing so could cause batteries to short circuit, leak or explode.

• Never recharge a battery unless it is confirmed to be a rechargeable type.

Some 4K HDR TVs require the HDMI input or picture settings to be set for HDR content reception. For further setup details on HDR display, please refer to the instruction manual of your TV. Your Soundbar supports HDMI with Audio Return Channel (ARC). If your TV is HDMI ARC compliant, you can hear the TV audio through your Soundbar by using a single HDMI cable.

Using an optical cable(not included), connect the OPTICAL connector on your Soundbar to the OPTICAL OUT connector on the TV or other devices. • The digital optical connector might be labeled SPDIF or SPDIF OUT.

• Use a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to connect the TV’s headphone socket to the AUX socket on the unit.

1. Using a High Speed HDMI cable (not included), connect the HDMI OUT (ARC) connector on your Soundbar to the HDMI ARC connector on the TV. The HDMI ARC connector on the TV might be labeled differently. For details, see the TV user manual. 2. On your TV, turn on HDMI-CEC operations. For details, see the TV user manual.

• Use a RCA to 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to connect the TV’s audio output sockets to the AUX socket on the unit.

1. Your TV must support the HDMI-CEC and ARC function. HDMI-CEC and ARC must be set to On. 2. The setting method of HDMI-CEC and ARC may differ depending on the TV. For details about ARC function, please refer to your TV owner‘s manual. 3. Only HDMI 1.4 compatible cables can support the ARC function.

Connect to Power • Before connecting the AC power cord, ensure you have completed all other connections. • Risk of product damage! Ensure that the power supply voltage corresponds to the voltage printed on the back or the underside of the unit. • Connect the mains cable to the AC~ Socket of the unit and then into a mains socket. • Connect the mains cable to the AC~Socket of the subwoofer and then into a mains socket. • Power cord quantity and plug type vary by regions.

Plug the Soundbar and the subwoofer into the mains sockets and then press on the unit or remote control to switch the unit to On mode. The subwoofer and Soundbar will automatically pair. Tips Do not press Pair on the rear of the subwoofer, except for manual pairing.

Manual Pairing If no audio from the wireless subwoofer can be heard, manually pair up the subwoofer. 1. Press and hold the & (Source & Vol-)on the Soundbar simultaneously, and then press and hold Pair on the subwoofer. The AUX/USB indicator on the Soundbar and the Pair indicator on subwoofer will blink slowly. The subwoofer will be paired successfully in about 2 seconds. 2. The AUX/USB Indicator goes off,the pairing LED indicator of subwoofer grows constant when successful. 3. If manual pairing failed and the Pair indicator still keeps blinking, repeat step 1.

Tips • The subwoofer should be within 6 m of the Soundbar in an open area (the closer the better). • Remove any objects between the subwoofer and the Soundbar. • If the wireless connection fails again, check if there is a conflict or strong interference (e. g. interference from an electronic device) around the location.Remove these conflicts or strong interferences and repeat the above procedures.

4 Use your Soundbar

• Please turn the unit off completely to save energy when not in use.

This section helps you use the Soundbar to play audio from connected devices.

1. Press the (Source) button repeatedly on the unit or press corresponding button on the remote control to select the AUX, OPTICAL, HDMI ARC, BT, USB mode. 2. The indicator light on the Soundbar will show which mode is currently in use.

Before you start • Make the necessary connections described in the quick start guide and the user manual. • Switch the Soundbar to the correct source for other devices.

Select predefined sound modes to suit your video or music. Press the EQ button on the remote control to select your desired preset equalizer effects: LEDs blink for 3 sec to show current EQ mode according to the EQ mode definition.

or press any Source button once on the remote control also can wake up the main unit. • Disconnect the main plug from the main socket if you want to switch the unit off completely. Auto Standby The unit automatically turns to Standby mode after about 15 minutes if the TV or the external unit is disconnected, switched off. • To switch the unit off completely, remove the mains plug from the mains socket.

Adjust the Volume Press Vol+/Vol-(Volume) to increase or decrease a volume level. • To mute sound, press Mute. • To restore the sound,press any buttons or perform any operations.

What you need • A Bluetooth device which supports Bluetooth profile A2DP, AVRCP and with Bluetooth version as 4.2 + EDR. • The maximum operational range between the Soundbar and a Bluetooth device is approximately 10 meters (30 feet).

Bluetooth Operation Through Bluetooth, connect the Soundbar with your Bluetooth device (such as an iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Android phone, or laptop), and then you can listen to the audio files stored on the device through your Soundbar speakers.

1.Press the button repeatedly on the unit or press the Pair/BT button on the remote control to switch the Soundbar to Bluetooth mode. The Soundbar’s indicator blinks white. 2.Press and hold the button on the unit or press and hold the Pair/BT button on the remote control to enter pairing mode. Press and hold & + (source & vol+), the previous paired devices will be cleared and the Soundbar re-enters pairing mode. The Soundbar’s indicator blinks white. 3.On the Bluetooth device, switch on Bluetooth, search for and select Philips TAB7305 to start connection (see the user manual of the Bluetooth device on how to enable Bluetooth).

4.Wait until the Soundbar‘s indicator becomes solid white. 5.To exit Bluetooth, switch the unit to another source. When your switch back to Bluetooth mode, Bluetooth connection remains active. 6.If you want to connect to another device, press and hold the button on the soundbar or the Pair/BT button on the remote control to disconnect the current connected Bluetooth device and enter pairing mode.

USB Operation You can play music files stored on a connected USB device.For playable types of files,see ”supported audio formats “page 15. Caution:USB Socket cannot charge to devices.

Factory default settings When the unit is powered on, press and hold the VOL + &VOL - , the unit's all source LEDs lights up 5 seconds and reset the unit to factory default settings.

(1) Drill two holes on the wall. (2) Secure the dowels and screws in the holes. (3) Hang the Soundbar on the fastening screws.

The unit may not be able to decode all digital audio formats from the input source. In this case, the unit will mute. This is NOT a defect. Ensure that the audio setting of the input source (e.g. TV, game console, DVD player, etc.) is set to PCM, Dolby Digital or Dolby Digital Plus (Refer to the user manual of the input source device for its audio setting details) with OPTICAL / HDMI input.
